Min. Dr. Michele A. De La Cruz is the Founder/President of Brighter Dayz, Inc. She is a compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician, a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS - Sigma Alpha Pi Chapter), a member of Pi Gamma Mu (International Honor Society in Social Sciences), and the NAACP.

Our History
Brighter Dayz, Inc. was established on December 21, 2005, in Newark, New Jersey. BDI initially was a research project designed to promote social change within the City of Newark, New Jersey. On December 21, 2005, ten inner city, at-risk youths wanted to change their lives from engaging in illegal activities to becoming productive members of society.

BDI utilizes educational and empowerment interventions that will assist and enlighten all those who participate in the program. BDI's goal is to encourage and uplift everyone to his/her full potential and excel in life, while promoting positive, social change for the betterment of the community.
